GEORGETTE TARAZI, age 84, of Calumet City, died August 30 in Indiana.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 2, from 4 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Funeral Mass Friday, September 3 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, Grace Street, Lombard.
Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.

Mrs. Tarazi is survived by five children, Elias, George, Tony, Samira, and Noel; five grandchildren, Jean, Wedad, Terese, David, and Diana;  great-grandmother of,  Anna Bella, Angie, George, and Maggie and her sister, Chafica.
Mrs. Tarazi is preceded in death by her husband, Khalil.

CAROL ALICE REYNOLDS, nee Halpenny, age 66, longtime Lombard resident, died August 30 at her home.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1 from 3 to 9 pm at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 2 at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband, Oscar ‘Gene’; her daughter, Amy J. (Michael) Castleberry of Wheaton; her son, Albert (Suzanne) Muisenga, III, of Lombard; five grandchildren, Morgan Mahn of Wheaton, Allison and Emily Muisenga of Lombard, Colin and Ryan Castleberry; her brother, Douglas L. (Arlene) Halpenny of Oak Brook; two step-children, Michele Reynolds of North Aurora, and Scott Reynolds of Tennessee; her niece, Colleen of Aurora; her nephew, Justin of Bartlett; and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Reynolds was a resident of Wheaton for 3 years and was formerly a resident of Lombard since the early 1960’s. She was a 1963 graduate of Maine Township West High School in DesPlaines. Mrs. Reynolds had owned The Beauty Shoppe on Park Avenue in Lombard from 1975 to 1992, She was the owner of Oscar’s Billiard on North Avenue in Lombard with her husband from 1992 to 2007. Mrs. Reynolds and her husband also owned Oscar’s Place, a restaurant and bar at 1847 West Roscoe, Chicago from 1984 to 1992. She attended all her grandchildren’s ball games and was a loving grandmother. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Oscar were married for 24 years.

ANDRZEJ M. FIEDOR, age 48, of Carol Stream, died suddenly in Arizona.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 28th with Visitation from 8:30 AM to time of Prayers at 9:30 AM from Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard, to Divine Mercy Polish Mission Church, Lombard for 10 AM Mass.
Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, Winfield, Illinois.

Mr. Fiedor is survived by three daughters, Patricia Fiedor of Carol Stream, Joanna (Mario) Tracz of Bloomingdale, and Paula Fiedor of Carol Stream; three grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Jonathan; two sisters, Rozalia Stone of New York, and Halina (Frank) Murphy of New York; his brother-in-law, Piotr Stachura of Poland; his sister-in-law, Jadwiga Fiedor of New York; many nieces and nephews; and his friend and former wife, Margaret Fiedor of Bloomingdale.

Mr. Fiedor is preceded in death by his parents Piotr and Anastazja Fiedor,  sister Anna Stachura and his brother, Zdzislaw Fiedor.

Mr. Fiedor was a resident of Carol Stream for 5 years and was formerly of New York. He grew up in Poland. Mr. Fiedor was a truck driver.

Following the burial, all are invited back to the home of Joanna & Mario Tracz for a reception.

Donald T. Reid, age 67 of Winfield,

Donald T. Reid, age 67 of Winfield, died Saturday, August 21, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, from 3 until 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Mr. Reid is survived by: his daughter, Tracy (Thomas) Glenn; his grandchildren, Jaime and Cassidy Glenn; his sisters, Peggy (Al) Knez and Jackie Reid; his friend and former wife, Lynn Reid.

Mr. Reid was a former U.S. Marine.

Mae Rose Pedersen, age 85, of Lombard, died August 20 at Lexington Healthcare Center, Lombard.
Visitation Monday, August 23 at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. Lombard from 4 to 8 PM.
Funeral services Tuesday, 10AM at Brust Funeral Home.
Interment Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park,IL.
Mrs. Pedersen is survived by two sons, Don of Lombard and David (Susan) of Elmhurst; a daughter, Donna Krencius of Aurora; 6 grandchildren, Cassandra (James) Kaltenbrun, Kevin Krencius, Amy (Ken) Robertson, Victoria Krencius, Jonathan and Jimmie; a sister, Violet Studtmann and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pederson is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin F and a brother-in-law Marshall Studtmann.
Mrs. Pedersen was married 60 years. Mae was Chairwoman for Neighborhood Charities, including Muscular Dystrophy and Luekemia for Kids. She also volunteered at Hines V. A. Hospital. She enjoyed travelling, walking, biking and taking care of everybody. She loved her coffee and chocolate.

Ron Foresman Day in the Village of Lombard.

Ron has retired from Brust Funeral Home after 35 years of service.

At a reception hosted by John & Karen Brust at Casey’s Restaurant, Village President Bill Mueller came to proclaim August 20th, 2010 as Ron Foresman Day in the Village of Lombard, He also presented Ron with a key to the Village.

Daniel Westbrook, age 66, of Carol Stream, died August 11 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Illinois.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 15 from 3 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 16 with Mr. Westbrook Lying-In-State from 10:00 AM to the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 South Lincoln, Lombard.

Mr. Westbrook is survived by his wife, Gae, nee Radtke; his son, Scot (Amy) of Bensenville; his daughter, Vicki Lynn (Robert) Muncy of Hanover Park; four grandchildren, Bobby and Danielle Muncy of Hanover Park, and Sidney and Madison Westbrook of Bensenville; two brothers, Richard (Tanis) of Tennessee, and Don (Diane) Plant of Virginia; his mother, Jean Plant of New York; seven (7) nieces and nephews; and two sister-in-laws, Bonnie (Robert) Clements of Plainfield and Rae (Jerry) Novak of Sandwich, Illinois.

Mr. Westbrook was born in Buffalo, grew-up thee, and was a graduate of Kenmore West High School. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1966 during the Vietnam War. Mr. Westbrook was a retired Warehouse Foreman. He enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Westbrook had been a resident of Carol Stream for 36 years and was formerly of Glendale Heights.

Susan Jean Jablonsky, age 61, of Middleton, WI, formerly of Villa Park, IL

Susan Jean Jablonsky, age 61, of Middleton, WI, formerly of Villa Park, IL. Loving daughter of Anthony and the late Patricia nee Mason Jablonsky. Older sister of Mary and Warren (Colleen). Dear aunt of Jack, Claire and Tim Jablonsky. Mom to her best friend, Zoe. Susan graduated from Willowbook H.S. in 1966, B.S. from the University of Illinois, and M.S. from Illinois State University, both in Psychology. Susan worked for the state of Wisconsin for over 30 years in the Audit Bureau. For most of those years, she was responsible for the budgets for many important state social programs. Susan cared deeply for those in need. She worked hard to keep these programs viable especially during these difficult economic times. The outcome of Susan’s efforts provided much needed assistance for many people in Wisconsin. Susan lived in Germany for several years. This spurred her interest in foreign travel. She loved traveling though out Europe, and also visited Morocco, Egypt, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. Also, she had fond memories of her trip to Alaska with close friends and celebrating the millennium at the Rose Bowl. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and dog at the family cottage on Lake Michigan. Susan enjoyed her time there cooking and baking for her family. Much to her frustration, Susan’s undying love for the Cubs never faltered. Go Cubs. Visitation Monday from 9 AM until time of funeral prayers 10:30 A.M at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. CONRAD M. OSBORN, age 81, of Lombard, died August 9 at Manor Care, Westmont, Illinois.

Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, August 12 from 4:00 p.m. to the time of Family Remembrance Service at 7:30 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Interment Private.

Mr. Osborn is survived by his wife, Joan, nee Canfield; his son, Donald (Lixing) of Virginia; two daughters, Connie (Ken) Hass of Lombard, and Katherine Rauenzahn of Lombard; five grandchildren, Timothy, Joseph, Howard, Nabil, and Christopher; and his cousins, Jane D’Amico and William W. Swayne.

Mr. Osborn was a resident of Lombard since 1971. He was a 1953 graduate of West Point. Mr. Osborn was a member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. He served as a Lay Reader when he attended St. Mary Magdalen Episcopal Church in Villa Park and St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Downers Grove.

Interment will be at St. Michael The Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois.

Kristen is survived by her father, Mark Nilsson of Utah; her mother, Dorothy, nee Sykes, of West Chicago; her brother, Carl Nilsson of Utah; her grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Sykes of Medinah; her Aunts and Uncles, John (Sheri) Nilssen, Raymond Sykes, Kathleen (James) Poss, Patricia Keesecker, and James Sykes; and her cousins, Allison, Katie, Laura, and Eric Nilsson; Jason, Jeffrey, and Janice Sykes; Jamine and Melissa Poss; Nichole, Thomas, and Michael Keesecker, and Jessica Sykes.

Kristen had attended St. Charles High School.
