Karen S. Hoepfner, nee Koeller, 59, went to Heaven on Monday, Julyl 11th, 2011 after her courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her devoted family and friends at her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Peter Hoepfner.  Together they have three beautiful children: Andy (29) of Arizona, Tim (27) of Bloomingdale and Katie (20) of Carol Stream. She is also survived by her brother, Gregg (Sue) Koeller of Carol Stream.  She was the proud Aunt of nephews C. J. and Danny Koeller. Karen was also the cherished Godmother of Kristin Svetic and C. J. Koeller.  She shared a special bond with her dearest friends Jean and Mark Svetic of Hoffman Estates. Karen was devoted to her family and their care, her friends, her Chicago Cubs, and her dog, Tootsie. Karen born June 5, 1952 to the late Jim and Lillian Koeller. The family thanks her friends from Jewel-Osco for all of their kindness and generosity. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, Carol Stream, 415 N. Gary. Mrs. Weber always wanted to be on the Price is Right.  She loved WWF Wrestling and enjoyed crossword puzzles.  Mrs. Weber loved checking on her great-grandchildren.  She was a great mom.

FLORENCE T. MALM, nee Thiele, age 92, of Lombard, promoted to the Church Triumphant.

Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, from 3 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 14, with Visitation from 10 AM until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 350 East Madison, Lombard.

Interment Private at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, Illinois.

Mrs. Malm is survived by three children, Eric W., Jr. (Virginia) of St. Charles, Barbara L. Malm (Kenneth S. Cluett) of Roswell, Georgia, and Arthur P. (Catherine) of Elgin; four Grandchildren, Kirsten (Kevin) Welter, Julia (Scott) Beu, Lucas and Bryan Malm; two great-grandchildren, Elsa Rae Welter, and Kayla Marie Beu; her sister, Dorothy Replinger of Urbana, Illinois; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Malm is preceded in death by her husband, Eric W.; her daughter, Patricia; and three brothers, William, Martin, and Arthur.

Mrs. Malm was a resident of Lombard for 60 years.  She was an Accountant for Martin Thiele Company.  Mrs. Malm was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard.  She was a long-time community volunteer.

Deacon Tom J. Bailey of Lombard

DEACON TOM J. BAILEY, age 70, of Lombard, died July 4 at his home.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 7 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 114 South Elizabeth, Lombard and Friday, July 8 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 8 with prayers at 9:30 AM from Brust Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 10:00 AM Mass.

Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.

Deacon Bailey is survived by his wife, Mary, nee Beatty; his daughter, Colleen (Grant) Wick of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sons, Terry (Wendy) of Wheaton, Timothy (Danielle) of Lombard, and Brian (Vicki) of Carmel, Indiana; and 11 Grandchildren.

Deacon Bailey is preceded in death by his son, Robert; and his brother, Robert, U.S. Navy, KIA, World War II.

Deacon Bailey grew up in Chicago and was a resident of Lombard for 36 years.  He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam  War from 1960 to 1968.  He received the Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Stars, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and the Good Conduct Medal.  He was a Member of the Lombard VFW Lilac Post.  Deacon Bailey was married for 48 ½ years.  He was a Product Service Engineer for Motorola for over 30 years.  Deacon Bailey was ordained in 1984 and was a Deacon for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard for 27 years.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society and a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus.  Deacon Bailey worked with St. Vincent DePaul and was very active in all phases of Sacred Heart Catholic Church working for Jesus.

MARILYN M. MORGAN, age 82, of Lombard, formerly of Lincoln Park, Chicago, died June 29, at Beacon Hill Health Care, Lombard, Illinois.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 6 with Visitation from 9 AM until time of Service at 10 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. Lombard.

Interment will be at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, Illinois.

Ms. Morgan is survived by her sister, Lillian M. Keck of Lombard; her brother, James P. Morgan; her sister-in-law, Sally Morgan; her nieces and nephews: Melissa and David Keck, Michael (Leslie), Elizabeth (Perry) Jones, Timothy (Senja), Marianne (Chris) Petersen, Daniel (Evonne), Jonathan (Karen, Eric (Afarin), Kathleen (Harry) Fix, Jennifer (David) Miller, and Peter (Jennifer); and many great-nieces and nephews.

Ms. Morgan is preceded in death by her brother, Edward F.; and her brother-in-law, Harry Keck.

Marilyn Morgan was an English teacher at Evanston Township High School for 25 years, retiring in 1993.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lombard.
