Robert W. Tykol, Colonel U.S. Army (Ret.) passed away January 29, 2013 at age 92. Survived by daughter Laura (William) Garrison, step-sons Dick (Karen) Bednar and Alan (Kim) Bednar, brother William (Joyce) Tykol, grandchildren Max Garrison, Brenda Bednar, Rich (Lauren) Bednar. Predeceased by beloved wives Virginia, Viola, Judy and Ellen. Bob was a proud veteran of WWII in the 167th Combat Engineer Battalion and the Army Reserves. Ralph E Beaupre’ (age 81). US Air Force veteran. Son of the late Pearl Moran and Ralph E Beaupre’, Sr. Beloved husband of Jane. Devoted father of Christine Kral, Ralph (June), Greg (Sabine), and Beth (Paul) Szymanski. Loving Grandfather to Sam, Isabella, Quinn, Bobby, Tess, Janie, Owen, Ralphie, and Mary.
Ralph loved his family, fishing, and the Northwoods. After his retirement, Ralph became known for his beautiful carvings of songbirds and birdhouses. Ralph was an example of a man living with stability and generosity, grounded in his dedication to family, with a love for growing, building and creating. He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Mrs. Orszula is survived by her daughter, Carol (David) Watanabe of Lincolnshire; two grandchildren, Steven and Kayla Watanabe; and her brother, Robert Spitler.
Mrs. Orszula is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Norbert.
Mrs. Orszula was a long-time teacher of elementary and middle school children. She taught 4th grade for many years at Green Valley Elementary School in Lombard, Illinois. Mrs. Orszula also taught 7th and 8th graders focused reading programs at Roselle Middle School in Roselle, Illinois.
Mrs. Orszula received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Illinois and her Master’s degree in Reading Education from Northern Illinois University. Mrs. Orszula was active in the American Auxiliary of University Women (AAUW) and the Lombard Service League.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31 at 8:30 AM until time of prayers at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard to St. John the Apostle for an 11 AM Funeral Mass. Interment is at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
Mr. Massa is survived by his wife Giuseppina; his two sons, Antionio (Mary Della) and Tomasso (Leticia); his two daughters, Gabriella (Donald) Zeunert and Anna Maria (Stanley) Dolecki; his eight grandchildren, Nicole (Ed) Hillyer, Michael (Melissa), Michael (Lynn) Zeunert, Matthew (Melisa) Zeunert, Joseph Zeunert, Christopher Zeunert, Ryan Michael and Alexander Dolecki; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Hillyer and Matthew Anthony Massa.
Mike worked for GTE Automatic Electric for 36 years as a punch press operator and set up man. He occupied his time helping his family with the household projects and loved to garden. More than anything, he loved being surrounded by his family.

Mr. Bird was a Veteran having served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. in the Pacific, Air Offensive Japan with the 41st Photo Recon SquadRON.
Mr. Bird was a Past President and Longtime Member of the Lombard Rotary. He was Past Lombard Jaycees Man of the Year. He was the 1996 Grand Marshall for the Lombard Lilac Parade. Mr. Bird was a Past President of St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was an active member and Usher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard. Mr. Bird was longtime member of the Lombard Historical Society and the Lombard Chamber of Commerce. He was a former Village Trustee for Lombard and served on many Boards and Commissions. Mr. Bird was a member of the Lombard Jaycees and the Lombard YMCA. Mr. Bird had moved to Lombard over 40 years ago.

Mr. McGinn is survived by his son, Richard Thomas (Nancy) of Winfield; his daughter, Kathy McGinn of Lombard; two grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas (Kathryn) McGinn of Chicago, and Sarah McGinn of Winfield; two brothers, Donald (Mary) McGinn of Georgia, and Robert McGinn of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. McGinn is preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, nee Makovsky.
Mr. McGinn was a resident of Lombard for over 50 years, since the 1950’s. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. McGinn was a retired Pressman for the Chicago Sun-Times. He was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Villa Park.
