Loving father to Denise (Nicholas) Marello, Camille (Robert) Nichols, Alex (Melissa). Beloved grandfather of Nicholas (Shona) Marello, Angela (Sean) Murray, James (Michelle) Marello, Marc, Danielle, Timothy, Vincent (Jessica), Gina and Alexandra. Great-grandfather to Luke, Nicholas, Alexa. Beloved brother to Mary (the late Anthony) Guzzaldo, the late Alexander (the late June). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. ArendtMARY V. ARENDT, nee Pawlik, age 85, of Itasca, formerly of Addison, died July 7 at Forest View Nursing Home, Itasca, Illinois.

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9 from 2 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Funeral Mass with be held Wednesday, July 10 with prayers at 9 AM from Brust Funeral Home, to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Itasca, for 10 AM Mass.

Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.

 Mrs. Arendt is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted”; three daughters, Susan P. (David) Dial of Itasca, Lisa M. (Rick) Aue of Addison, and Denise Arendt of Bloomingdale; five grandchildren, Richard S. (Alyssa) Dial of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jeffrey R. Aue of Itasca, Jennifer L. Dial of Itasca, Andrea E. Aue of Addison, and David A. Dial, Jr. of Itasca; one great-grandchild, Mia A. Majerko of Kenosha, Wisconsin; two brothers, Clement (Rose) Pawlik and Alvin (Vi) Pawlik; her sister, Sr. Philomene Pawlik; and many other relatives.

Mrs. Arendt is preceded in death by 1 sister, Sophia Goold and 4 brothers, Hugo, Edward, Rudolph and Joseph Pawlik.

 Mrs. Arendt grew-up in Knox, Indiana and moved to Illinois in 1956 living in Melrose Park, Northlake, and then Addison for 50 years, and Itasca the last 3 years.  She was a former member of St. John the Apostle Church in Villa Park and St. Joseph Church in Addison.  Mrs. Arendt was a current member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Itasca.  She was a great mom and a good cook.  She loved to play with her children and grandchildren.  Mrs. Arendt had been a volleyball and basketball player in high school.  She had been Salutatorian of her High School class.  Mrs. Arendt retired from Protectoseal in Bensenville in the 1990’s.

Jackie HallJacqueline M. Hall, age 26, of Austin, Texas,  formerly of Lombard.

 A visitation will be held Friday from 2 PM until time of funeral service at 7 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard, IL.  Interment will be private.

She was the beloved daughter of Jacob and Susan M. nee Lyne; loving sister of Nichole and Joseph; cherished granddaughter of Rosemary and the late Stewart Hall, and Frank and Fran Lyne; dearest cousin and niece of many.

Jackie was a graduate of Pleasant Lane Grade School, Glen Westlake Middle School, Glenbard East High School, and Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.  She was employed by the Apple Corporation. Jackie was greatly loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
