LYNDA OSTDIEK, nee Palesch, age 65, of Villa Park, died suddenly August 28 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois. Loving wife of Tom. Dearest mother of Sarah (Brian) Blaszczyk of Chicago and Dr. Allison Ostdiek of Chicago. Dearest daughter of William Palesch of Elmhurst and Dolores Palesch of Raddison, Wisconsin. Dearest sister of Denise Palesch of Maryland, Jean (Michael) Krause of Lombard, Daniel Palesch of Plainfield, William (Ree) of Dundee, Ellen (Greg) Chadaranek of Lyons, and John (Kim) Palesch of Kankakee. Many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of John (Mary) Ostdiek of Minnesota, and Rob (Kris) Ostdiek of Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 31 from 3 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, September 1 with Mrs. Ostdiek Lying-In-State from 9:00 AM to time of Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, Illinois.
Interment Private.

Mrs. Ostdiek grew-up in Elmhurst and was a 1968 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst. She was a 1972 graduate of Lewis University in Joliet. Mrs. Ostdiek was a Special Education Aide for School District 45 for over 20 years and was currently working at York Center School. Mrs. Ostdiek was a resident of Villa Park for 34 years.
