Bertha was a sporty young girl, ice-skating on the puddles in Jefferson Park, Chicago, attending school at St. Constance,
and her most favorite, collecting flowers for her mom.
Bertha loved to garden, sew beautiful clothes, hunt for collectible treasures, golf and bowl.
Bertha gave herself unselfishly to her husband, children and grandchildren. Bertha was rewarded with their love and devotion and will be forever in their hearts.
Bertha is survived by her husband, Edwin John Latos; her son, Thomas (Cora) Latos of Huntley, IL;daughters, Linda (Mike) Dickey of Lombard, IL and Marilou (Kevin) Collins of Castro Valley, CA; her five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sisters, Mary and Harriette. Bertha was preceded in her death by her parents, Mary (Mura) Kryspin and William Kryspin; and her most beloved sister, Eleanor Kryspin Powell.
A Memorial Mass will be private for the immediate family. Interment will be private at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the charity of your choice.
