Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.

Mrs. Pachowicz is survived by her loving daughter, Christine Kniceley; her grandchildren, Dawn (Rich) Hurst and Jenny Kniceley; her great-grandchildren, Danielle, Kelsey, Stephanie, Nicholas, Shelby, Melanie, Tess, Matthew, Abby and Sydney; many nieces and nephews

Mrs. Pachowicz is preceded in death by her husband, Ted; her son-in-law, James Kniceley; her sister Adeline Rajnka: and her brother, Ziggy.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Funeral Services will be held Friday with Mrs. Miller lying-in-state from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln, Lombard.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Rex F.; her children, Steven and Susan of Aurora; her grandchildren, Ashley Miller of Aurora, Taylor (Lucas Johnson) Miller of Aurora, and Jakob Miller of Aurora; her brothers, Larry (Debra Ann) of Belvidere, Ron (Kathy) of Lombard; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her brother, William.

Mrs. Miller was a resident of Lombard for 35 years. She graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1966 and attended College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Mrs. Miller worked for Royal Coach in Addison for over 30 years. She enjoyed shopping and loved cats and dogs.

MitacekBarbara P. Mitacek (nee Philipp) 88, formerly of Elmhurst, Green Valley AZ and Lombard passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday August 22, 2016.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 – 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Funeral Services will be held Friday with prayers at 10:30 AM from Brust Funeral Home to Christ the King Church, 1501 S. Main Street, Lombard for 11 AM Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Barbara was born on September 16, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Irene Philipp and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jean Philipp. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Richard and Raymond Mitacek. She is survived by her loving children Richard (Karen) Mitacek, Linda (the late Tim) Mitacek, Janet (Ken) McEwen, Charles (Kathy) Mitacek, Cher (the late Tom) Mitacek, Clare Erber, Irene (the late Dennis) Doyle, Joe (Jeanne) Mitacek, Jim (Maureen) Mitacek, Maryann (Phil) Fese, and Peter (Pam) Mitacek. She was the step-mother to the late Rose and Larry McCool, Diane (Kurt) Bressner, and Joyce Olsen. Cherished grandmother of 30 and great-grandmother of 17. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Barbara started her nursing career at St. Anne’s Hospital and retired from Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. She embraced her career, just as she did her family with faith, love and compassion. Barbara was always caring for others and enjoyed being around people. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, playing cards and watching the Cubs. She made sure you never left her table hungry and coffee cake was always on the menu. One of her greatest gifts was that she made everyone feel special.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 – 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, with Mrs. Brown lying-in-state from 9 AM until time of service at 10 AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln, Lombard. Interment will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery in Chicago.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving children, Melanie Philips, Antoinette “Toni” (Robert “Rob”) Summers, and Marjorie “Maggie” (Greg) Allan; her grandchildren, Randi Sue, Rebecca, Sam, Christian, Melissa, Celine and Shelly; her brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Logothetti; her god-daughter, Karen Lichtenberger; aunt, great-aunt and dear friend of many and her dog, “Boo”;  loved by many Lombardians young and old.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents, August and Antoinette Logothetti nee Fischer; and her sister, Marjorie (Robert) Lichtenberger.

Mrs. Brown was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church for 40 years. She was a dance instructor with the Lombard Park District for 30 years, “Annie’s Sweethearts.” Mrs. Brown was the proud owner of Lombard’s Antique Cellar. She was also a proud member of the Glen Ellyn American Legion Post # 3 Auxiliary for 50 years. Mrs. Brown was a registered nurse for 70 years. She was an avid rollerskater, bowler, dancer, volleyball player and she loved her slot machines! And, by the way… “Me to You”

Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd, at 10 AM at Eden Memorial Cemetery in Schiller Park.

Mr. Counts is survived by his step-children, Brenda Tillman and Michael Stanley; his nieces and nephews, Frank “Jay” Lyons of Wheaton, Jack Kraitzer and Mary Bennett, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tammy Woods of Porterville, California.

Mr. Counts was preceded in death by his loving sons, James and Joseph and his parents, Floyd Counts and Myra Holden White.

Mr. Counts graduated from Lyons Township High School in LaGrange.  He was a WWII Second Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps. Mr. Counts piloted single and twin engine airplanes and took part in troop carrier operations.

(Beck) Blaxton and Jessica C. Schraft.  Beloved great grandmother of Ava J. Schraft, Scottie R. Schraft, Wyatt C. Schraft and Rhett T. Blaxton.  Joan was preceded in death by her grandson, Stephen M. Gentile,  her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brayden Schraft, her parents Harold Mitchell, Sr. and Edna (Moelber) Mitchell, her brother Harold Mitchell, Jr., and her son-in-law, William R. Schraft.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St, Lombard.  Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his loving children, Jean (James) Tufano of Lombard, Mark (Pam) of Grayslake, Kathryn (Thomas) Koleski of Lombard, Mary Jo (John) Owens of Green Bay, Susan (James) Tumpane of Lombard, Julie Hamilton of New York; daughter-in-law, Kathleen of Wisconsin;  20 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren; his sister, Alice Murphy of River Forest; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his wife, Jean nee Murphy; his son, Thomas; and his siblings, John, Rosemary and William.

Mr. Hamilton was a resident of Lombard for 61 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Hamilton attended St. Ignatius College Prep and graduated from Loyola University in Chicago. He was a salesman for US Forest Products until his retirement. Mr. Hamilton was a former member of Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church. He was very athletic and enjoyed playing tennis, jogging and wood chopping.
