Heyman, JoannJoAnn Marie Heyman, nee Horna, beloved wife of the Late Charles. Loving mother of Deborah Hardtke and Thomas (Dusty). Cherished grandmother of Jason, Douglas (Audrey), Chris (Nikki), Josh (Megan), Nicole, and Jake. Great-Grandmother of D.J. (his mother, Jenelle). Dearest sister of Shirley (the Late Jerry) Sherman, Margaret (John) Marinovich.  Aunt and great-aunt of many.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 1 at Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois at 11 AM.  Meet at cemetery office at 10:45 AM.

Donations to Midwest Greyhound Rescue, 433 Bliss Road, Sugar Grove, Illinois 60554 would be appreciated.

JoAnn had been a volunteer for 15 years for Midwest Greyhound Rescue.

Jerry Don Capps, age 69, of Lombard

CAPS, JERRYJerry Don Capps, age 69, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by his loving children, on February 7, 2017.  Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend Cynthia Capps; Jerry is survived by his loving daughter Kathryn (Capps) Coconato, His loving sons David Capps, Jerry (Misty)  Capps II, His loving 6 Grandchildren, Kaylyn Capps Jones, Kaylya Capps, Chole Capps, Gracie Capps, Justin Coconato, Vincent Coconato. His fond siblings, Larry (Maureen) Capps, Gary (Sheila) Capps, Deann (Berg) DuFour,Wesley Pittman, Bill Pittman, Vikky (Capps) Lester, Cricket Capps and the late Paul John Berg and Brenda Capps, many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a member of VFW Post #8322 in Chicago, IL, The Lombard American Legion, The Lombard Moose Lodge, and Mr. Capps was a Veteran of the U.S Navy until 1966, Jerry then listed into the Army1st Battalion, 202D Artillery division. Jerry loved his westerns, country music, old fast cars, Jerry loved working on cars and racing them. Jerry had a loving and caring heart, His favorite saying “Who Love You Baby!” will always remain in our hearts.

Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday March 4th 2017 from 12to 5 pm at the Villa Park VFW 39 E. St. Charles Road in Villa Park.

Robert “Bob” Brunner, age 65, died peacefully at his home in Lombard

American FlagRobert “Bob” Brunner, age 65, died peacefully at his home in Lombard on February 15, 2017.  Loving husband and best friend of Laura Johnson; step-father to Scott McGladdery; son of the late Clyde and Columbia Brunner; brother of Dawn Kasnick and the late Anthony Brunner; nephew of Evelyn Armstrong and the late Victor Netti; fond cousin of Christine and Ken Seroka, Michaleen and Allen Liddy, Brian and Patricia Marchese, and Cindy Schwitters; special brother-in-law to Joyce Fitzgerald, the late George and the late David; Denny, Timmy, Diane Johnson, and Larry Price; cherished uncle to Marie Rynne and many nieces and nephews; and loving master to Minia, his pride and joy.

Mr. Brunner was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Viet Nam in Germany as a Special Weapons Expert.  He loved his sports and Westerns.   He was a hero to all the loved him.

Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday February 28th from 2 to 6 PM with a Service at 5:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois at a later date.

Lillian E. Blake nee Wolt, age 57, of Lombard

Blake, LillianLillian E. Blake nee Wolt, age 57, of Lombard, passed away February 14, 2017.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, from 3 – 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 22, at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home. Private Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Ronald W.; her dear siblings, Robert Wolt, of Downers Grove and Claudia (Donald) Germann of Lake Geneva; her special niece, Kylie Germann; fond nieces and nephews, Diane Beckman, Holly Blake, David Blake, Melissa Blake, Janelle Blake, Reed Seely, Holland Kubat, Lindsay Underwood, Erin Underwood, Alexander Blake, Spencer Blake, and Noah Blake; many great-nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Esther Wolt.

Lillian was a resident of Lombard since 1984. She had worked for Rockwell International in Downers Grove for over 13 years. Lillian was a new member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Lombard. She was an active member of Cat Guardians in Lombard. Lillian was a former member of the DuPage Democratic Club and a former DuPage County Judge of Elections.

BEATRICE ‘BEA’ ROSE CORNING, age 86, of Lombard

CorningBeatrice “Bea” Rose Corning, nee Schultz, age 86, long-time resident of Lombard, died February 12 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15 from 3 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 16 at 1:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Mrs. Corning is survived by her husband, Allan; her children, Paul (Jolene) of Naperville, Bob (Nickie) of Prospect Heights, and Cheryl (George) Robillard of Wisconsin; and 7 grandchildren, Joryn, Zachary, Sean, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Rachel, and Amy.

Mrs. Corning is preceded in death by her son, Steve.

Bea was born in Watertown, Wisconsin on August 15, 1930, the only child of William and Loretta Schultz (nee Schutz).  She was a graduate of Marquette University with a B.S. in Nursing.  Bea worked as a nurse at Milwaukee hospital, Mount Vernon, and Elmhurst hospital.  After retiring as an RN, she served as a volunteer at Elmhurst for 20 years putting in over 25,000 volunteer hours.

GinosiMary C. Ginosi, 101, beloved wife of the late Mark Ginosi. Loving mother of Marilyn Payton (Dale) and Dennis (Kathleen) and cherished grandmother of Kim Alberts (David) and Beth Weems (Tommy). Great grandmother to Lauren and Colin Alberts and Thomas, Caroline, Ava, Andrew and Betsy Weems. A proud member of Chicago’s Albanian community, and for many years an employee of Hoyne Savings and Loan. After retirement she served as a conscientious volunteer at Swedish Covenant Hospital and, later, Resurrection Hospital. Memorial visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard, IL. Funeral service begins at 10 a.m Monday at Brust followed by internment at Elmwood Cemetery, 2905 Thatcher Ave., River Grove, IL. Langenstrass, age 77, passed away at his home in Naples, Florida.  Born in 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Richard and Ada, nee Pike, Langenstrass, he was the beloved husband of Carol A. nee Schoeben. Loving father of Leslie (Kenneth) Johnson, Werner Richard, Jr. (Kelly), Michael C. (Leah), and Lisa (Matthew) Nie. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Taylor, Austin, Katie, Brandon, Samantha, Michael, Jr., Sarah, Elizabeth, Jackson, and Nicholas, and the late, Annie. Great-grandfather of Caroline, Josephine, Amelia, Miles, Deegan, Gianna, and one on the way. Brother of Marlene (Jerome) Tyda, and Susan (Thomas) Conroy.  Uncle and Great-uncle of many.

Werner had been in the manufacturing industry for more than fifty years and was the proud owner of CMP Anodizing for more than twenty years.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles, and traveling with family and friends.  Werner was also a huge fan of western movies.

Visitation Friday, February 17, from 3 to 8 PM.  Funeral service Saturday, February 18, at 10 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Martin is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (née Hoppie); his loving sons Stephen (Catherine), Kevin, and Jimmy; his cherished grandchildren, Sean and Cian; his dearest siblings Joe (Loretta), Mary (Mairtin Jaimse), Cait (Dan), Padraig (Maire), Brid (Michael), John (Bridie), Noreen (Josie), Gracie, Gerry (Mairead), Paul (Eileen), Jimmy (Mary Alice) and Gabrielle; and many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as friends.

Martin is preceded in death by his mother, Grace (née Curran), father, Patrick, and sister, Ann (Brian) Glavey.

Martin was born and raised in Connemara, Galway, Ireland and was the 8th of 14 children. Martin moved to Chicago in 1972 and worked as a Plumber. He was a resident of Lombard since 1979 and a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Martin loved his family and he truly adored his two young grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday February 10th from 3:00-9:00pm at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton Ave, Villa Park, IL.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Burdi (née Zarilla); his loving daughter Melisa (Leo); his cherished grand children, Isabella, Giada and Angelina; his dearest siblings Frank (Carm) and Angela (Pat); his much loved in-laws Peter (Maryanne) and Charles (Gina); his mother Anna; and many cousins, nieces, nephews as well as his treasured friends.
Michael’s first love was his family. He was an amazing husband and an impeccable father and grandfather. Those who had the luck to know him will miss him forever.
