A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 14, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 4801 Main Street, Downers Grove.  Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park.

Rosalie was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille nee Lombardo; dearest sister of the late Frances (the late Dominic) Macciaro, the late Dominic (the late Margaret) Russo, Lucille (the late Luke) Pisano, Michael (the late Barbara) Russo, and Anthony Russo; cherished aunt and great-aunt of many.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton, Villa Park. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oak Brook Terrace.

Fred is survived by his loving children, Jeff, Jason (Connie) and Beth Gunzel (Luis Valencia); his cherished grandchildren, Justin, Sheridan, Arden, and Aaron; many nieces and nephews.

Fred Is preceded in death by his parents, Fred H. Gunzel Sr. And Josephine Gunzel (Cervenka) and his brother, Elwin.

Fred graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Elmhurst College and spent his career as a technical writer for Central Scientific, AM Multigraphics, Solopak Pharmaceuticals and Apotex Inc. He was a life-long learner and completed a certificate in Philosophy and Humanities from the University of Chicago as well as obtaining his private pilot’s licenses. Fred enjoyed mountain climbing, photography, traveling and nature. He belonged to the American Chemical Society, Mountaineering Club and Torch club and attended the York Center Church of the Brethren.

Anna is survived by her beloved children, Ron and Linda Marie; her loving grandchild, Dan; her cherished great-grandchildren, Rayan, Tiffany, Doug, Katelyn, Jenna, and Olivia; great-great grandmother of Connor and Bella; her dear brother, Daniel (Joan) Strakusek; and many nieces and nephews.

MaxwellJoan Marie Maxwell nee Roller, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2018, at the age of 85.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, November 15 from 10:30 AM until the time of a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 550 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn.  Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

Joan was the loving mother of Sandra (Matthew) Novak, Kimberly (David J.) Traxler and John (Beth); cherished grandmother of Christie Novak, Jean (James) Meisenburg, David D. (Emily) Traxler, Kate Traxler, Amy (David) Andris and Jonathan Maxwell; great-grandmother of Elizabeth and Clay Andris and Matthew Meisenburg; and aunt and great-aunt of many.

Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L. and her dear sister, Dorothy (Robert) Poore.

The daughter of the late Frieda and William Roller, Joan was born in Chicago, September 26, 1933. Living with her grandparents, Joan had a close knit family with her sister, Dorree, and many aunts and uncles. Her family loved to sing and dance, particularly in the kitchen.

Joan married her beloved husband, John on September 12, 1953 in Chicago. They had three children, Sandie, Kim, and John, and began raising their family while living in Evanston.

Joan had the gift of hospitality, making lifelong friends while living in Bloomington, IL, Hot Springs Village, AR, and most recently in the Lisle and Glen Ellyn areas. She was passionate about her family, always available to lend an ear and a hug. She loved to cook and entertain.

Joan will be remembered for how she lived, with a smile on her face and a warm and compassionate way with people. She loved to laugh, to hold hands, to hug, surrounding herself with family and friends. God blessed us with a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

The family would like to give special thanks to Joan’s caregivers at Atria Park, Glen Ellyn and Angels Grace Hospice. We cannot thank you enough for the kindness and gentle care you gave our mother. We would also like to thank her pastor, Jonathan Hancock for his many visits, talks, thoughts, and caring for Mom over the recent years.

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Phillip Capperino; her loving children, Diana (Christopher Tummillo), and David (Tracey Shulz); 5 cherished grandchildren, David Capperino, Gianna Capperino, Jeffery Capperino, Christopher Capperino and Sara Tummillo; adored nieces and nephews, Catherine Hartley (Richard Sampognaro), George Allen Monahan (Dory Morgan), and Deborah Hartley (Thomas Carey); and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Leo Manahan and Irene Anne Dagenais and her siblings, Anna Mae Norfray (James Johnson), Maureen Patricia (Donald Hartley), Kathleen Irene (John Cullinan) and George (Polina Stumblingbear); a niece, Lorraine Hartley; and two nephews, Raymond Hartley and Anthony Manahan.

Frank R. Geschrey, age 93, died October 31, 2018.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 4, from 1:30 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Peace Lutheran Church.

Frank is survived by his children, Karen (Bruce) Ludwig, Juliann (Hank) DeAngelis and Robert (Donna) Geschrey; his grandchildren, Scott (Kate) Ludwig, Kristen (Dave) Ludwig Conforti, Candice (Wes) Geschrey DelPrete, Christopher (Iku) DeAngelis, Lisa DeAngelis, Tina (Steve) Geschrey Fischer, Jamie (Mark) DeAngelis Poulos, and Kevin DeAngelis; his great-grandchildren, Kaylee David, Kyra Ludwig, Dillon and Levi DeAngelis, Grace and Noah DelPrete, Jack and Sam Fischer, Gavin Poulos and Dante and Gionni Conforti, youngest brother, Art and brother-in-law Mike Stoykov.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, the late Leona Geschrey nee Stoykov, a great-grandson, Charlie Fischer, his parents, Frank and Theresa Geschrey, his twin brother, John Geschrey and his brother, Richard Geschrey.

Frank was passionate about golfing, fishing, reading and spending time with family.  He served in both the Army and Air Force branches for over 3 years.
