Rosemary A. DeNardo nee Tunis, age 91, of Lombard, passed away February 24, 2020.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1st from 3 – 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 2nd with prayers at 9:15 AM from Brust Funeral Home to Christ the King Church, 1501 Main St, Lombard, for 10:00 AM Mass. Interment will be private at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Mrs. DeNardo is survived by her beloved children, Denise M. McTigue, James M. and Jeffrey T; her cherished grandchildren, James (Dana) Cartwright, Ryann (David Hudson) McTigue, Matthew McTigue, Jacquelyn McTigue, and Franky DeNardo; her loving great-grandchildren, Charley Rose and Parker David Hudson; and her dear sister Annabelle Kohs; aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mrs. DeNardo is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. and her siblings, Angie, Beatrice, Frances, and John.

Ruth J. Weise nee Geiger, age 97, of Lombard, died February 23 at her home.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Edward S.; loving mother of Karen (Randy) King and James (Donna) Weise; cherished grandmother of 6, Kimberly (Patrick) Failing, Keith (Crystal) King, Kyle (Elizabeth) King, Kaitlin (Alex) Teater, Caleb Weise and Trevor Weise; great-grandmother of 7 and aunt and great-aunt of many. She was preceded by a brother, William Geiger and a sister, Katherine Geiger.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11 AM at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Russell S. Keenan, age 63, of Lombard

Russell S. Keenan, age 63, of Lombard, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 16, 2020 at home.  He was born March 12, 1956 in Elmhurst, Illinois, to Richard and Marlita Keenan (Rowlands) and a brother, Rick, now deceased.

Russ is survived by his son Chase of Coloma, Michigan; his sister, Maureen Parker, of Winter Springs, Florida.  He was a wonderful uncle to Thomas (Sonia), the late Toby and many others.

Russ was a gifted athlete who was a lover of fishing, golf and the outdoors.

Russ will be remembered by many cherished friends and family members for his generous heart.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1-5 PM with a Memorial Service at 3 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.

James Marquette, age 85, of Lombard

James Marquette, age 85, of Lombard passed away on February 12, 2020, with family by his side.

Interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 18, at 10:30, alongside his wife Ada Marquette of 49 years.

James is survived by his five children, Matt (Carol), Paul, Jessica (Paul), Jennipher (John), and Melissa (Jerry); nine grandchildren, Eric (Jen), Adam, Michael, Johnny, Thomas, Adrian, Brandon, Sarah, Michael and sister Denise.

James was preceded in death by his six brothers.

James grew up on the northside of Chicago. He was in the first graduating class of St. Benedict High School. James served in the United States Air Force, where he was a Chaplain assistant. After getting out of the service, he took advantage of his GI Bill by obtaining his Master’s Degree; and never stopped taking classes even after he retired. After retirement, he joined the Americore and helped senior citizens with their financing, medical, and other errands.  I think his favorite assignment was helping a blind woman’s dream of learning to sail on Lake Michigan (it terrified him), but he accompanied her anyway.

MUNARETTO, MARIO, age 88, of Villa Park

Mario Munaretto age 88 passed away at home on February 11th, 2020. Mario was the beloved husband of Maria (Negruta) (deceased), loving Father of Analisa (Christopher) Helton and Mario and brother of Lina Munaretto. He is preceded in death by his parents, Attilio Munaretto, Eliza Coco and his beloved sister Iside Munaretto (Lago). He was a beloved Uncle, cousin and friend to many.  He was everyone’s second Dad and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. The chair at the head of the table will remain empty reserved for Pop.

Linda Speer, age 72, of Villa Park

Monday, February 10th, 2020

Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Ellen and Patrick Mills, Linda Speer passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 3:15 am.  One of her last wishes was to be able to pass through the gates of heaven from her own apartment that she lived in for years with the assistance of the Ray Graham Association.  She was surrounded by pictures of her loving friends and family who brought so much happiness to her life.

Linda is survived by her extended family, Peggy and David Zitzer, Patricia and Mark Schneider, Lisa Bowling and Bill Grogan, Margie Bowling, her nana, Veronica Bowling, and her cousin, Linda Walker.  She is also held dearly in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, Dr. Erinn and Dr. Kirk Pirlo, Liam Grogan, and Ellen Zitzer.

In addition to spending time with her family, Linda loved her job at Ray Graham Association and tried never to miss a day of work. While working at Ray Graham Association, Linda met her dear friend, Alison and her travelling buddies who she enjoyed going on many trips with. She also loved dogs and was always happy sitting on a couch petting the dogs for hours on end.  She will be missed dearly and will forever in be in our hearts and minds.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 2/12/2020 with a Memorial Gathering from 10:45 AM until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:15 AM at St. John the Apostle Church, 330 N. Westmore Ave., Villa Park, IL.

Mary Jane Naccarato nee Corsino, age 73, of Lombard, died February 2, 2020 at Central DuPage Hospital.

Mary Jane was the beloved wife of Frank; loving mother of Rosina and Frank; dear sister of Beatrice Zarlenga and Andrea Corsino; and fond aunt of Dominick and Jody.  She had many friends and ‘adopted’ children.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 1 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.  After the funeral, a Memorial Visitation will continue until 4 PM.  Interment private.

Mary Jane was a great Italian cook and loved to crochet.
