Charles K. Schultz, age 64, of River Forest, died September 18, 2020.

Charles was the dear father of Michelle (David) Morawski of River Grove and Jacob Schultz of River Grove; grandfather of Marshall T. Morawski; dear brother of Ken (Joanne) of Schaumburg; former husband of Genny Schultz nee Sheridan of Melrose Park; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Charles was born in Oak Park and grew up in Villa Park.  He attended St. Pius X grade school and attended Willowbrook High School before moving to Glenbard South High School, graduating in 1974.  He received his B.S. from Northern Illinois University.  He later moved to Northbrook, and then to River Grove.

Charles was a retired CPA with his own firm “Chuck Schultz CPA”.

Charles loved to collect, play cards and enjoyed old movies.

Private Interment at North Northfield Cemetery, Northbrook, IL.

Wayne Suddarth, age 84, of Lombard

Wayne Suddarth, age 84, of Lombard, passed away September 18, 2020.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24th from 3 – 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard. A Funeral Service will be held Friday September 25th at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow.

Wayne was the beloved husband of 59 years of Ellen nee Murray; loving father of David Wayne (Kurt) Suddarth of St. Paul, Minn., Trevor Andrew Suddarth of Glen Ellyn, Brendan Michael Suddarth of Chicago, Kathryn (Bruce) Bilgreen of Iron Mountain, Mich. and Matthew T. Suddarth of Wheaton; fond grandfather of 6: Ryan, Ben Hannah, Aaron, Sam and Emma; dear brother of LaDora DeLancy of Schaumburg and the late Bernice, the late Betty, the late Mary and the late Louise. Many other relatives.

Wayne was born in Marseilles, IL and graduated from Marseilles High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Elmhurst College. Wayne served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957. He had been a resident of Lombard since 1958.

Wayne was the former Cub Master of Troop #42. He was the past Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop # 51. Wayne was a past Lincoln School PTA President. He and Tom Wick helped start Lombard YMCA Indian Guides. Wayne was the former Chairman Board of Education Nominating Committee for District #44.

Wayne retired after 25 years from Northrop Grumman in Arlington Heights.

Corporal Jacob R. Jones, age 21, USMC, of North Carolina, formerly of Bloomingdale

Corporal Jacob R. Jones, age 21, USMC, of North Carolina, formerly of Bloomingdale, died September 12, 2020.

Jacob was the husband of Lauryn nee Fogt; dearest son of Edward W. Jones, Jr., of Bloomingdale and Jeannette A. Jones of Glendale Heights; loving brother of Mitchell Jones of Bloomingdale, Bradley Jones of Bloomingdale, Olivia Jones of Glendale Heights and the late Joshua F. Jones; fond grandson of Frances Jones (the late Edward Sr.) of Crystal Lake, Jeannette (Sorin) Cauc of Bartlett and the late Ralph E. Mazur; and many aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Jacob was formerly a resident of Wheaton, Lombard and Bloomingdale.  He graduated from Glenbard East in 2017. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2017 and was stationed in North Carolina. He was previously deployed to Japan.

Jacob loved animals and was a video gamer.

Anna Bienasz (nee Bickel), of Lombard

Anna Bienasz (nee Bickel) passed away peacefully in her home on September 8th, 2020.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, from 9 until time of funeral prayers at 10 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, then proceeding to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

She was born in Schwabach, Germany in 1925. She married Henry Bienasz in 1947 and they had one son, George.  Both Henry & George pre-deceased Anna.

A longtime Lombard resident, Anna worked for Anchor Products in Addison for nearly 40 years. Anna enjoyed working in her garden, listening to the music of Andre Rieu and Lawrence Welk, cooking wonderful German food, and taking care of her beloved “Tessa”. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Robert L. Perry, age 84, of Lombard, Korean War Veteran

Robert L. Perry, age 84, of Lombard, died September 8, 2020, at Edward Hospital.

Robert was the loving husband of 59 years of Betty Lou nee Edenes; loving father of Julie (Phil) Young of Glen Ellyn, James of Yorkville and Laura (the late Chad) Riner of Naperville; fond grandfather of Stephanie of St. Louis, Nick (Morgan) of OK, Brandon of Carpentersville, Sophia of Glen Ellyn, Anthony J. of Carpentersville, Ashley of Naperville, and Alex of Naperville.

Robert was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Betty, Henry “Red”, Dorothy, Moody, and Frances; and his aunt, Margaret.

Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War.  He served in the U.S. Air Force in Japan and Hawaii.

Robert was born and raised in West Virginia; he was a graduate of Kingston High School.  He had lived in Lombard since 1962.

Robert worked for the National Baking Company, from which he retired 19 years ago.  He was an active member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lombard.  He was a former dart player on the B Team at St. John’s; he also was a former member of the bible study group there.  Robert enjoyed golf, woodworking, puzzles and country & western music.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 11 AM at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln Ave., Lombard, IL.

Lillian T. DeLaurie, age 86, of Lombard

Lillian T. DeLaurie of Lombard, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family September 2nd 2020, on her 86th birthday.

Growing up in Melrose Park, IL, Lillian loved working at Carmella’s Candy Store which was owned by her mother. She resigned from attending Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, IL to care for her sickly mother while working at the Hostess factory in Schiller Park, and later at a punch press factory.

As a homemaker with her loving husband John, Lillian’s devotion to her family was shown in many ways.  Raising six children in a small ranch home in Lombard took a skillfulness and ability that she developed at a young age. The Sunday morning aromas of her famous Italian pasta sauce, learning how to play cards, and holiday gatherings are just a few of the sentiments that she bestowed to the senses and memories of her children.

Lillian and her husband shared their love of fishing throughout Wisconsin of which their favorite lake was Williams Bay, Lake Geneva.  They also enjoyed vacationing with family in Pompano Beach Florida.

Lillian is survived by her children; Joseph DeLaurie, Dorice DeLaurie, John and Nancy DeLaurie Jr., Angela and Michael Skala, Gabriel DeLaurie, Anthony DeLaurie and Regina March.  8 grandchildren.  8 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her Husband John DeLaurie, Sister Connie Sperandeo, and Brother Gabriel Iagulli.

Nancy L. Fraveletti nee Nelson, age 76, of Lombard

Nancy L. Fraveletti nee Nelson, age 76, of Lombard, died September 4 at her home.

Nancy was the loving mother of Tony (Christie) of Lombard; grandmother of Rylee and Logan; dear sister of the late Judith and the late Barbara Quinn; and fond aunt of Robin Keehn and Christopher Quinn.

Nancy grew up in Lombard and graduated from Glenbard East High School.  She worked for Standard Oil Company and later was the manager at Courts Plus.  She loved tennis, knitting, crocheting, loom weaving and other crafts.

All services are private due to COVID-19.
