Prayers to the Gunzel family during this difficult time.

Fred, so glad to have had lunch and visited with you during the past year. Your knowledge and wit was always a great conversation.

Rest In Peace cousin. You will be missed.

I am one of the neighborhood kids that grew up with “Mr. Fred”. That’s what he wanted us to call him. I lived a few doors down. He was a free spirit who loved and appreciated the little things. I’ll never forget our random talks with him and my parents as I would stop while coming home from a bike ride or walking one of the family dogs. I’d catch the lightning bugs with the other kids or save frogs and salamanders from window wells and he would beam with joy that we were all so involved with nature. Heaven has gained an angel. I will be unable to attend the services but will be saying prayers for him and the family. It was an honor to know him. He touched the lives of many.

    With Love,

    Meagan Kerr
