Griesbaum obit pictureWilliam “Billy” Gerard Griesbaum, age 58, of Villa Park, formerly of Lombard, died suddenly on January 28.

Billy was the loving brother of Linda (the late James) Ostien, Laurie (Kevin) Wallace, Lianne (Robert) Jaworski, Lisa (Steve) Davey, Michael (Maricor) and John (Pam); uncle of 14; and great-uncle of 4.

A Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, from 3-8 PM at Brust funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.   Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 2, with 11:30 AM Prayers at Brust Funeral Home to 12:15 PM Mass at St. Alexander Catholic Church.  Interment is private.

Billy had lived in Villa Park for 1 year and had formerly been a 57 year resident of Lombard.  He attended Ben Franklin Grade School, Jefferson Junior High and Willowbrook High School.

Billy made his First Communion and Confirmation at St. Alexander Catholic Church.  He enjoyed swimming and fishing.

    Im so sorry for your lost! Billy was always fun to be around. He was the one person that would always laugh at my stupid jokes and joke around with me. RIP papa Billy. Thank you for everything you have done, I am sadden I feel I havent expressed it enough, thank you!
