Kay spent most of her working career in the temporary help service field. She worked for only one company, but it changed names and ownership many times over the years. Kay was a faithful member of the Elmhurst Choral Union from 1961 until 2015.  She was a lifelong church member and sang in the choir of each church she belonged to. Her church and choir membership at Trinity Lutheran Church began in 1982 and lasted until her passing.

Kay’s favorite pastimes were gardening, traveling, reading. In fact, she loved going to the library to browse the shelves and pick out the next novels to read. Also, she was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.

Memorials are requested to: Trinity Lutheran Church of Villa Park, The Elmhurst Choral Union, The National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs and The Alzheimer’s Association.
