mobergJoAnne L. Moberg nee Iversen, age 43, suddenly, of Lombard, passed away August 15, 2019.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 20, from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 12:30 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.

JoAnne is survived by her beloved children, Devin Iversen of Westchester, Jimmy Moberg of Lombard and Emelia of Lombard; her loving parents, James Iversen Jr. and Karen Iversen nee Felske; her dear sister, Jennette (Thomas) Faragoi of Lombard and fond aunt of, “Dani” W. Faragoi  Jr. of Chicago, and JoAnne “Annie” Faragoi of Lombard. Friend and former spouse of Timothy Moberg of Villa Park.

JoAnne was raised in Lombard and graduated from St. Pius X School. She graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1994 and was currently attending College of DuPage. JoAnne was very active in her children’s education. She was a former PTA President at Pleasant Lane School. JoAnne was a homemaker and a Hairdresser. She loved Disney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to her minor daughter, Emelia, or Epilepsy Foundation Greater Chicago, 17 N. State Street, Suite 650, Chicago, IL 60602, are appreciated.

    JoAnne lived down the street from me on Goebel. She and Emmy always greeted me with a smile when walking my dogs. JoAnne was very kind and always asked about my kids and dog. I am sad to hear about her passing! God Bless to her family! Rest in Peace, JoAnne!

    Too many years have passed. I could not believe the news. Best condolences to her whole family! NO ONE was COOLER!!! I will always remember my Norwegian/Zeppelin friend! She is with God now. Good luck to all who suffer this major loss of her passing.
