JACQUELINE J. “JACQUIE” KEMPF

Jacqueline J. “Jacquie” Kempf nee Geritano of Lombard, Illinois, age 59, died January 30.  Beloved wife of Anthony G.; loving mother of Kari (Richard) Ellis of Lombard, Anthony J. “T.J.” of Hillside, Mike (Amanda Jacobs) of DeKalb.  Loving “Nonny” of Dustin, Cody, Gianna and Summer; dear sister of Irene (Thomas) Trakas, Frank (Donna) Geritano, and the late Constance and Janice.  Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Kempf was a resident of Lombard for the past 40 years.  She grew up in Broadview and graduated from Proviso East High School.  She has been the secretary for singer, Engelbert Humperdinck for the past 25 years.  She was the past President of his Fan Club and the current Fan Liason.  She also maintained his website.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorials to American Lung Association, 150 North Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 are appreciated.

  3. JACKIE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ALL OF US ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS AND ALWAYS CHEERFUL, EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD HEARD THE SAME QUESTION PROBABLY A 100 TIMES. SHE ALWAYS PROTECTED ENGE’S PRIVACY AND WAS ALSO ALWAYS THERE FOR HIM. JACKIE WE WILL MISS YOU, REST IN THE ARMS OF THE ANGELS UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
