I have had the pleasure of knowing Rob for the last ten or more years in the area of basketball officiating. Rob was a class as an official and my prayers go out to his family.

We are teachers/coaches at Jefferson Middle School in Villa Park where Rob refereed. After meeting Rob, we found out early on that we used to live in Rob’s neighborhood in Wheaton before we moved to Aurora. We lived on the corner of Elm and Campbell. Every time Rob came to ref, we would ask him how the neighborhood was. It was a little connection to Wheaton that we had! We are so sorry for your loss. He will be sorely missed by the entire basketball community!
God Bless your family.
