Ernest ‘Ernie’ Silberhorn, age 91, of Lombard, passed away March 1 at Lexington of Lombard surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be March 6 at 7PM at Glen Ellyn Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 22 W 410 Great Western Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, where he attended.

Ernie is preceded in death by his wife, Jean of 69 years of marriage, and their two daughters, Lynn and Joan.

He is survived by daughters, Judy and Carol; sons, Hanc, Peter, Paul and Phil; 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ernie retired from Lombard School District 44 and moved to Park Falls, WI.  He lived in Park Falls for almost 30 years until returning back to Lombard for the last several years to be near his family.

Ernie was a wonderful, loving, kind father and grandfather, loved by all who knew him.
