ROBERT ERIC RAYMOND, age 48, of Midland, Michigan, formerly of Lombard, died suddenly April 17 in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, April 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 7pm followed by a short Service at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Mr. Raymond is survived by his wife, Deborah K., nee Meyer; two sons, Christopher (Brandi) U.S. Army, and Michael of Oswego; his mother and step-father, Marcia H (Raymond) Norton of Lombard; four sisters, Cynthia J. (Christopher) Meehan of Massachusetts, Patricia (Edward) Bolton of Virginia, Terri Newman of North Carolina, and Nancy (Gregory) Beltrame of Lombard; and his nieces and nephews, Nikki and Tim Pivnichny, Katherine and Raymond Prevallet, Aimee Prevallet, Nathan Green, Rebekah Meehan, Julia Meehan, Alex Vavarutsos, Jim Newman, Maria Beltrame, Lisa Beltrame, and Elena Beltrame.

Mr. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Robert Raymond.

Eric was born November 1, 1962.  He spent most of his life in Lombard.  He was a graduate of Hammerschmidt Grade School and a 1980 graduate of Glenbard East High School.  Eric worked for several Chicago area roofing contractors and roofing inspection firms before opening his own roof consulting firm:  Raymond Roof Consulting, Inc.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, darts and playing poker.

    I am a long lost cousin of Eric’s and was so saddened when I received the news about his death. Although we didn’t keep in close contact as adults the family will always be special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this tragic time.

    Dear Debbie, We were saddened to learn of Eric’s sudden passing. We wish we could have been in Lombard to express our sympathies to you. We, however, were in FL for the mnth of April.
