Marian J. Lidicker, nee Johnston, age 98, of Lombard, died April 26 at Beacon Hill Health Care, Lombard, Illinois.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 29 with Visitation from 10 AM until time of Service at 12:00 Noon at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Mrs. Lidicker is survived by three children, Richard Johnston (Marilyn) Lidicker of Woodinville, Washington, Virginia Ann “Ginger” (John) Sienkowski of Virginia, and Chip Lidicker of Fox Lake; 10 Grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lidicker is preceded in death by her husband, Roger “Bud”; her grandson, Rick Lidicker; and two brothers, James and Robert Johnston.

Mrs. Lidicker was a resident of Lombard since 1943.  She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1934.  Mrs. Lidicker worked at the Helen Plum Library as a Librarian during the 1950’s thru the 1970’s.  She was a Board Member of the Lombard Historical Society; and Historian and Docent there.  Mrs. Lidicker was a Book Club Member, Member of the Red Hat Society at Beacon Hill, and a Member of the First Church of Lombard.
