MARY E. WARD, nee Rapp, age 83, died peacefully, surrounded by family November 20.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 26, with Visitation from 9 AM to time of Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.

Interment will be at Elmlawn Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.

Mrs. Ward is survived by 5 children, Lee (Scott) Westphal, Karen (Jim) Wingard, John Ward, Bernice (Pete) Conlin, and Julie (Dave) Segatti; and 11 grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Westphal, Dan, Amanda, and Alex Wingard, Peter, Heather and Adam Conlin, Anna, Dominic and Micayla Segatti.

Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her husband, Henry.

Mrs. Ward was raised in Battle Creek, Michigan with her 7 siblings.  She moved to Illinois to work at Hines Hospital where she met her husband Henry.  They lived in Lombard for 50 years where they raised their 5 children.  Mrs. Ward was a dedicated nurse at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for over 35 years.  Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching, watching Wheel of Fortune, and reality T.V. shows.
