Ada Marquette, nee Clisham, age 77 of Villa Park, died Saturday, November 26, at home.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, from 3 PM-8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. Lombard.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, with 9:30 AM prayers at Brust Funeral Home, to Sacred Heart Church, Lombard, for 10 AM Mass. Interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

Mrs. Marquette is survived by:  her husband, James B.; her children, Matthew Borg of Chicago, Paul Marquette of Chicago, Jennipher (John) Schueler of Villa Park, Jessica (Paul Springer) Marquette of Chicago, and Melissa (Jerry) McGowan of Lombard; her grandchildren, Adrian, Eric, Adam, Brandon, Sarah, Johnny, Michael, Thomas, and Michael; her sister, Betty Grissom of Chicago; 2 brothers-in-law, Tom (Pat) of Arizona, and John (Barbara) of Mt. Prospect; her sister-in-law, Denise Marquette of Arizona; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Marquette was a 3-year resident of Villa Park, and formerly of Chicago.  She grew up in Bridgeport on the South Side, and was a homemaker.  She was also a ballet dancer, a flamenco dancer, and was an artist and sculptor.  She loved antiques.
