Theresia Mayer (nee) Aschberger, age 83, of Lombard.  Beloved wife of the late Anton, Loving mother of Brigitte O’Brien (The late Jack) and Cathy.  Proud grandmother of Marc Ramagnano, and Amy, John, Michael and Kristina O’Brien, great-grandmother of Keith and Kayla Kuligowski. Fond sister of Anthony (Catherine) Aschberger. Many other family and friends.

Throughout her life, beginning with her birthplace in Sotin, Yugoslavia, to Frankenburg, Austria, and finally to Chicago, Berwyn, and Lombard, Illinois, Theresia had always enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking. Sewing clothes for her family was a labor of love, and gardening was a celebration of the wonder of nature.  Her favorite interest, though, was cooking.  She always felt that cooking for family was a priority, and that sharing food with family and friends was one of the best ways to express her love.
