  3. Cheryl D. says:

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May family and friends bring you comfort along with God’s Word. John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15 assure us that those who have fallen asleep in death have the wonderful prospect of living again, at a time when God will have removed all sickness, pain, sorrow, and even death from the earth forever! (Rev.21:4; Psalm 37:10,11,29)
I know when you read these scriptural reminders they will bring you, not only comfort, but peace as well.

I am more than honored to have been Rob’s friend through the high school youth group he led at the church. He was a mentor to everybody around him. He was the most selfless man I knew, always putting you in front of him and his life.

For that I thank Rob endlessly for helping me find myself through my high school years and into my college years. You are missed by a lot of people, and loved by everyone.

Through Pastor Rob, I truly learned what it was like to love, and to give in love. He was part of my youth group experience, and he genuinely represented Christ’s love for me. From playing tag football, singing songs, and sharing with one another, the experiences I had will last a lifetime, and he will remain in my memories forever! 13. Laurie and Garrett TenHave-Chapman says:

What a good shepherd Pastor Rob was for First Church of Lombard. He has been a faithful spiritual leader for this congregation for decades and his faith imprint will be an influence for good for generations. We are deeply sorry for the congregation in this time of profound loss. It is rare that a church family has the sad honor of celebrating their pastor’s passage into eternal life. Members and friends of First Church will have that privilege today. We will be with you in Spirit and in prayer.
    Revs. Laurie and Garrett

Rob: Was one of the finest people I have worked with for years in his association with us at Exhibitor Show. Alway positive, always helpful, always cheerful. Truly if there was one who deserved to hear those words ” Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant” it is surely Rob! For those of us who knew him our world has lost a bit of it’s cheer and color, but his spirit still shines from heaven and he will live in our hearts forever. My Prayers for Peace for his family and friends and for all whose lives were blessed by the opportunity to know him. THE CIRCLE WILL BE UNBROKEN and we will live by his example…..Well Done Indeed! our friend WELLL DONE!
