We loved Susan very much. She was a great friend and colleague, with an excellent sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.

Susan and I went to Willowbrook together although she graduated a year before me. We both worked at the Villa Park Trust and Savings Bank in the old facility in downtown Villa Park on Villa Avenue. We had such fun “back in the day.” I went off to ISU in 1963 but Susan stayed around, working at the Elmhurst Bank and eventually going back to school. However, we reconnected a lot on my vacations. Even after I graduated from ISU and lived in Buffalo Grove, we were able to stay in touch. I moved to AZ in 1977 and we connected several times out here as her aunts lived in Glendale, AZ. We made a few trips together to Las Vegas. We always had fun. I last saw Susan in the summer of 2012 when we were both in IL to visit. I’m so glad we did. I will miss her terribly. She was a good, long-time friend. We communicated via e-mail from time to time and I did see her in Florida years ago when I was there for a convention. I’m so sad to lose my friend.
