Daniel Westbrook, age 66, of Carol Stream, died August 11 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 15 from 3 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 16 with Mr. Westbrook Lying-In-State from 10:00 AM to the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 215 South Lincoln, Lombard.
Interment Private.
Mr. Westbrook is survived by his wife, Gae, nee Radtke; his son, Scot (Amy) of Bensenville; his daughter, Vicki Lynn (Robert) Muncy of Hanover Park; four grandchildren, Bobby and Danielle Muncy of Hanover Park, and Sidney and Madison Westbrook of Bensenville; two brothers, Richard (Tanis) of Tennessee, and Don (Diane) Plant of Virginia; his mother, Jean Plant of New York; seven (7) nieces and nephews; and two sister-in-laws, Bonnie (Robert) Clements of Plainfield and Rae (Jerry) Novak of Sandwich, Illinois.
Mr. Westbrook was born in Buffalo, grew-up thee, and was a graduate of Kenmore West High School. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1966 during the Vietnam War. Mr. Westbrook was a retired Warehouse Foreman. He enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Westbrook had been a resident of Carol Stream for 36 years and was formerly of Glendale Heights.
