BICKERSTAFFAmerican FlagRichard J. Bickerstaff, age 77, of Glendale Heights, died May 25 at Glen Oaks Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday May 30th from 3 PM until 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 31st at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.

Mr. Bickerstaff is survived by his loving wife, Jackie J. nee Mills; his children, Vicki (Dennis) Jones of Belvidere, Laurie (Mike) Zochert of Batavia and Bob (Stephanie) of Rock Rapids, Iowa; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Bickerstaff was a US Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He lived in Glendale Heights for 42 years and graduated from Glenbard (West) High School in 1955. Mr. Bickerstaff attended North Central College. He was married for 50 years. Mr. Bickerstaff was an Inventory Specialist for Kraft Foods and retired after 20 years. He was a former Little League Coach and Cub Scout Leader.
