Mrs. Zieja is survived by her only child, her daughter Judy Sliwa, her 3 grandsons, Christopher (Rachel), Nickolas, and Mark. She was a loving aunt to her nieces Kathy Gillin, Debbie Baker (Todd), and Patti DeRose (Ted), and her nephews Tom Gillin and Kevin Gillin (Mary).

Mrs. Zieja was a resident of Lombard for 30 years. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and never missed a game on TV. She treasured her 3 grandsons and enjoyed watching them play sports when they were young and spending time with them as they grew into adults. She also enjoyed spending time with her daughter Judy.
She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her but especially by her daughter Judy and her grandsons Chris, Nick and Mark. But most of all her faithful companion, her dog Mello will miss her most.
