Loving father of Pegilee (Ed) Clark of Florida and Cathy (Ted) Ahrens of Villa Park. Grandfather of Nancy Jo Adkins of Florida, Holly (Frank) Palmer of Florida, David (Leeta) Clark of Michigan, Mark Ahrens of Villa Park, and Michael (Monica) Ahrens of Lombard. Great-Grandfather of 8. Preceded by his sister, Ginnie Cotsworth of Michigan.

Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25 from 4 to 8 PM with a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard.
Interment later at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.

Mr. Lawser grew up in Oak Park and was a resident of Lombard since 1953. He had worked for Admiral and Zenith as an Electrical Engineer. After retiring, Mr. Lawser worked for Schroeder’s Ace Hardware in Lombard for 20 years.

Mr. Lawser was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe. He was with Patton’s 3rd Army and fought at Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Lawser was an active and longtime Member of Community Presbyterian Church in Lombard and had served on the Presbytery Board at church.
