NobleCharles Dwane Noble, age 72, a resident of Lombard for 41 years, passed away on February 9, 2016 due to complications of Myasthenia Gravis, the “Snowflake Disease.”
Born on September 28, 1943, he and his wife, Deborah Noble, D.V.M. moved from Larned, KS in 1974 to Lombard after an apprenticeship in Plumbing and Heating, he started his business of “Dwane’s Plumbing” in 1985.
Dwane loved his plumbing trade. He loved helping his customers. He loved getting together with his plumbing buddies at the various seminars and barbecues. And he loved his home and the various pets he and Deborah loved over their 41 years together.
The one regret he said he had was that he discovered the sport of golf too late. Even during those three years when he was so sick from the MG, he could always take time to sneak in a few holes of that frustrating game.
An informal celebration of Dwane’s life will be held on March 12 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. A short service is planned at 1:00 PM with coffee and refreshments following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of Illinois  (800) 888-6208 or to any fine animal shelter.
