Gary K. Krause, age 72, of Lombard died October 6 at home.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 10 from 2 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. Lombard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 11 with prayers at Brust Funeral Home at 10:30AM to St. Pius X Church for 11AM Mass.
Interment will be private at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst.

Mr. Krause is survived by his wife, Sue nee Thiese; three children, Laura (Michael) Woo of Chicago, Bill (Marilen) of Lake Zurich and Tom (Kim) of Lombard; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Ben, Emily, Elisa, Jenifer and Hannah; two brothers, Lynn (Kay) of Joliet and Gil (Shirley) of Plano, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Krause is preceded in death by two brothers, Gaylen and Loren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent dePaul Society, c/o St. Pius X Church, 1025 E. Madison, Lombard, IL. 60148 would be appreciated.

Mr. Krause was the 1955 Captain of the wrestling team and graduate of York High School. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church since 1967. He retired from AT&T as a Staff Manager. He was a volunteer for P.A.D.S.  He helped out family and friends with electrical and phone work. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and card player.
