Jeremy T. Baldridge, age 42, of Lombard, passed away unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism during a sunny morning walk in his neighborhood on May 4, 2018. Jeremy was the loving son of Richard and Carol Baldridge and beloved brother of Daniel Baldridge.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9th, from 3 – 8 PM with a Funeral Service at 4 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Interment will be private.

Jeremy graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1993 and from Knox College in Galesburg, IL in 1997 with a Major in Creative Writing and a Minor in Studio Art. He later earned three master’s in business from Keller. After graduating from Knox, Jeremy worked for the Ray Graham Assoc., Lucent Technologies, and McCain Foods. Ever since he was seven, Jeremy had had a passion for role-playing games, and enjoyed building worlds and creating adventures for characters.

As a member of Hope Church in LaGrange, IL Jeremy served as usher, deacon, and went on a mission to Haiti. He enjoyed hiking in Morton Arboretum, spending holidays with family, and had a great sense of humor.

    Jeremy was ALWAYS there for me! He made me laugh when I really needed it. ALWAYS helpful, thoughtful and considerate. I considered him one of my closest and dearest friends. I will miss him terribly. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the family.

    I never met Jeremy personally, but I am close friends with his mother. She is an amazing friend who truly loved her son. I can only offer my sympathy for her and the rest of her family.

    Jeremy was a very kind, intelligent, creative, vivacious person whom I had the honor of knowing during a pivotal part of my life. He was one of my bright lights in a dark world. I could never thank him enough for that. My deepest condolences to all who cared about him.
