My prayers are with the family at this time. I have so many fond memories growing up next door to this family on Stewart Avenue. As a kid, Jan always made it look so easy having a big family, nothing seemed to rattle her and her roses were spectacular! Stewart Avenue was a great place to be a kid in the late sixties with the Roods, the Nelmes, the Brabits, the Delores, the Janiks and my family the Bilbees, we were quite a group; thinking of those days brings a smile to my face.
