Marilyn R. Sinacore, age 85, of Lombard

SinacoreMarilyn R. Sinacore, age 85, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 13, 2018. Marilyn, the daughter of Chris and Sue Tufano, was born in Chicago on October 26, 1932.

She was married to her lifelong love, Roger Sinacore, on September 29, 1951 and they shared 58 years of wedded bliss. They resided and raised their family in Lombard, IL. After retirement Marilyn and Roger enjoyed worldwide travel together for many years. They also shared many good times with family and friends. Family was an important focus of life for Marilyn and Roger.

Marilyn’s life defines the saying “Live, Love and Laugh”. She saw the positives and beauty in life and was a uniquely kind loving person who was always there to support family and friends. She had many lifelong friends and had a memorable impact on everyone she encountered. Marilyn was adored, respected and loved by her children and grandchildren.

She was a devout Catholic who followed the life path of a true Christian. Her strong belief allowed her to possess a spirit and soul that defined the loving caring person she was.

Roger proceeded her in death in August of 2009. Survivors include two children, Debra (Bob) Robertson of Cottage Grove, WI, and Sam Sinacore  of Bartlett, IL; five grandchildren, Tiana (Ray) Olsen, Chris (Amanda) Robertson, Lea (Jeffrey) Batterman, Giavanna Sinacore and Gino Sinacore; three great grandchildren, Emma Olsen, Ray Olsen Jr, and Zoe Batterman.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 18, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Brust Funeral Home, 135 Main St Lombard, IL 60148. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2018, with 9:30 AM Prayers at Brust Funeral Home to 10:00 AM Mass at St Pius X church 1025 E Madison St., Lombard, IL 60148. A burial will be held following the memorial service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL 60162.
